November 14th Webcast: Judgment, Part 3

Monday, November 14th Webcast Reminder

Dear Friend,

Denise and I want to remind you to join us, along with our sons Paul and Joel, for Home Group on MondayNovember 14, as we continue with Part 3 of our discussion of the topic of Judgment. Second Peter 2 is the basis of our study, as we see from this passage and others that the judgment of God is right and fair.

This week, as we discuss Second Peter 2:6-9, we consider what the Bible states in Genesis 19 about Lot and his dwelling among the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah. Although the Bible refers to Lot as a righteous man, he was not living a righteous lifestyle! Ancient writings are very clear that Lot not only entered the land of Sodom, but he also eventually became reprobate, having entered into the acceptance of that city's perversion. Yet the Bible assures us: "The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished" (2 Peter 2:9).

Be sure to watch this week's webcast. I believe our study and discussion will answer some serious questions for you and provide understanding about temptation and the progression of deception. If you would like someone to pray with you concerning a situation you're facing, our Partner Care team would be pleased to pray and agree with you according to God's Word for total victory and freedom in your life.

Would you allow us to do so? Call our Tulsa office toll-free at 800-742-5593 any weekday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST, or visit our website to share a prayer request with us online. I assure you that our prayer team will faithfully and confidentially pray over your request with expectation to see God's best established in your life!
