Denise and I invite you to join us for the Home Group webcast on Monday, November 7. Our sons Paul and Joel participate with us as we proceed with Part 2 of our new series on the topic of God's judgment — which is always just and faithful. We're delving into scriptures that most people don't teach on. But we're drawing upon the Greek meanings in key passages, which brings great illumination.
Last week, we discussed divine judgment against the fallen angels that sinned. This week, we conclude that discussion as it pertained to the "old world" at the time Noah. That civilization was highly developed, yet wholly polluted with violence. God did not spare His cataclysmic judgment until nothing and no one remained but Noah and his family.
Judgment also consumed the luxurious cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, turning them to ashes. The earth swallowed them up, "...making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly…" (see 2 Peter 2:6).
Don't miss this interesting and enlightening session of Home Group!
